I suspect it’s two problems (i) MSFS doesn’t realise what it is (ii) when upgrading the (XML?) data stored about the controller has not upgraded properly. Even if you have some unheard of device it should still work - at worse axes might be mixed up. I’m not quite sure why this should be a problem there is a standard API for accessing multiple devices and identifying axes and buttons. It is essentially useless (problem seems to be only after the recent update) fortunately I have my old controller. I have tried all the suggestions I can find. On a couple of occasions it has started working, for no apparent reason, but failed to save. I also notice that when the Hotas 4 is plugged in it stops the Pedals working.
